IMCB F-10/4 (Ex. F.G. College) is situated in the serene area of the Federal Capital. It was founded in 1990 and established itself as an esteemed institution of Federal Capital. It is imparting quality education to the students hailing from Federal Capital and its suburb areas.

For the last 30-years, this institution has been playing its vital role in shaping and grooming the future architects of nation. Every year, it exhibits excellent results in co-curricular activities at FBISE and QAU championships which makes it prominent among other institutions functioning under FDE. The college has produced many students who are contributing to the progress and prosperity of their country in their respective walks of life.

The institution is offering many disciplines for the young students, at Intermediate level (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, G. Science, ICS, I.Com & Humanities) while at graduation level our college is affiliated with Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad and BS and ADP programs are offered since 2018.  

The institution is proud of an experienced team of qualified teaching staff having Ten Ph. D. scholars and fifteen M. Phil degree holders. It is imparting quality education to future nation builders. This institution aims at equipping the students for the challenges of life and building a character in the light of Islamic ethical values on which no compromise is made.

The college is making efforts to explore the hidden talent of the students and to provide them better opportunities to express themselves and prove their worth.. For this purpose, the literary societies will be formed. Under the guidance of learned professors, the talented students will be provided opportunities through declamation contests, Qirat and Naat competitions, educational seminars, dramatic society and sports competitions.

The college has fully equipped science laboratories with latest equipment for the students to perform their practical work. Two computer labs with latest computers are functional while one computer lab for the students of BS Programs is being designed .This state of the art lab will have internet facility, projector and server.

The college has a rich library having more than 15000 books in all the subjects. Efforts are being made to enhance the quality books for readers and researchers. For B. S. programs, relevant books will be added which are necessary for specialization.

College Transport is also available for the students. Two busses are available to provide pick & drop facility to the students from various sectors of Islamabad to the college.

Anew infirmary (dispensary) is being set up for the students & staff where basic first aid facility will be available. The administration will try to hire the services of a qualified doctor after the approval of FDE, to provide basic medical treatment to the ailing students.

The college has a vast play ground equipped with sports facilities. Hockey, Cricket, Football, Basket Ball, Table Tennis, Gymnastics and other sports competitions are arranged to pick the best sportsmen who can represent the college in FBISE & QAU championship. The students of IMCB, F-10/4, Islamabad showed their excellent performance in Board / University games and won many prizes. They are the ambassadors of the college who earned fame & honor for the institution.

CMC (College Management Committee) is very effective body which consists of the representatives of the parents and teachers. It functions to develop a healthy coordination between the college administration and the parents regarding the academic and administrative matters of the college to achieve its cherished goals. We believe that by the coordination of parents, teachers and students, better educational atmosphere can be created. The administration will strive at its level best to achieve set goals. It will not only compete but beat other institutions by hard work and excellent results.
